USGS MYB China Table 2 anchors the Chinese company-level rows; per-plant figures from Alcoa, Rio Tinto, South32, Hydro, Vedanta, Hindalco, NALCO, EGA, Ma'aden, Metlen, RUSAL, ERG and Jamalco official disclosures.
Proprietary vendors (S&P, CRU, WoodMac, Fastmarkets, Roskill, SMM) and the token-gated International Aluminium Institute portal are out of license scope: where a figure exists only via such a source it is withheld, the plant row kept. Basis is Al2O3 tonnes, never bauxite ore or aluminium metal; curtailed (Kwinana) and closed (Point Comfort) plants carry capacity but are excluded from the operating-fleet aggregation.
