Quirks

SEC assigns ONE primary SIC per filer, so the per-code sweeps are disjoint (each CIK appears once)
Historical ever-filed universe - includes defunct/acquired registrants (Phelps Dodge, Asarco, Inco); a feature for ownership lineage, not a live census
browse-edgar atom feed mangles current names (Perl ARRAY refs) - the HTML table is parsed instead
US-listed registrants only; jurisdiction resolved to US/CA from the EDGAR business-state code, ZZ when foreign-coded
